Science vs Spirituality
Every soul contains energy, one day this energy will blossom with all it’s potential power.
All we need to do is practice that process to unfold it.
Sister Svetlana from Russian city whom BELOVED addresses as Sveta once wanted to know Beloved’s view on THAKUR’s idea of meditation from a modern scientific platform. We are very fortunate to have HIS (BELOVED) response in this regard as given here.
My dear Sveta! I never made the mistake of looking at my Thakur or His ideas through the glasses of science or anything else. Thakur, as I have realised Him, is an absolute truth, it’s irrelevant to me whether prevalent science is able to explain him or not. In every tiniest part of my consciousness my Thakur is eternally & indelibly engraved, no matter what happens in near or far future. I exist only for the very reason that someone known as my Thakur exists. One day, while leaving for my college, I went to His room to offer my pronam. I kept my physics books, which I was carrying beside Him & was offering my pronam. He started leafing through my books & jokingly said will you teach me science? He then murmured one day you’ll look at my ideas from the viewpoint of science. I instantly retorted, never expect that from me as I am going to do the otherwise. I will be looking at science or for that matter look at everything from the viewpoint of yours. He was in tears & embraced me saying tumi amaar hridoy, tumi amaar chokher moni in Bengali, telling me how much he loves me. I said scientific ideas will come & go but I don’t think in the entire creation someone of your stature will ever be found. According to me the modern science is yet to reach that height from where it can analyse & examine Thakur’s unheard of brilliant ideas in its entirety. Every scientific explanation & solution to riddles of this universe gives birth to many more other riddles & conundrums, yet to be solved.
In the attached pdf file we hereby share the beautiful writings of Beloved explaining Thakur’s spiritual thoughts in light of modern physics.
